Neymar today: the latest events from the life of the Brazilian footballer, his career, and personal plans for the future.

Neymar names his top 5 goalkeepers in football history. Only one is European

Brazilian winger Neymar from Al-Hilal named his top 5 goalkeepers in football history. Only one goalkeeper from Europe made the list: Victor Valdés.
"The best goalkeepers? I would include Victor Valdés, Claudio Taffarel, Júlio César, Dida, and Marcos," Neymar told Give me Sport.
Earlier reports mentioned that Neymar, who wishes to return to his home club Santos, where he began his career, wants to terminate his contract with Al-Hilal and receive $65 million from the club. Neymar has played two matches for Al-Hilal in the current season but hasn’t registered any goal involvements.

Mbappé reacts to Neymar's claim about jealousy over Messi

Former PSG forward Kylian Mbappé responded to Neymar's comments about him becoming jealous of Neymar after Messi’s arrival at the French club.
"I have nothing to say. I’m focused on what I’m doing here in Madrid. I have great respect for him. I want to remember the good things about a unique player in football history. I wish him and his family the best," Mbappé stated on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), as reported by Madrid Universal.
Messi joined PSG in the summer of 2021 as a free agent and played for the club until 2023. Neymar played for PSG from 2017 to 2023, while Mbappé has been with PSG from 2018 to 2024.

Portuguese agent suggests Neymar could move to Zenit

Renowned Portuguese agent Paulo Barbosa has spoken about the possibility of Neymar moving to Zenit St. Petersburg. He believes this option cannot be ruled out. Zenit could be an interesting scenario for Neymar's career continuation, and the former Barcelona player would consider an offer from Russia, according to Barbosa.
"Could you theoretically imagine Neymar at Zenit?" Barbosa was asked.
"Such a move can't be ruled out. I think Zenit is one of the clubs that could be interesting for Neymar because he has Brazilian friends there. This plays a big role — he needs that kind of atmosphere. A transfer to Zenit in the future — why not? If they make an offer, he would definitely consider it and take into account the fact that there are Brazilians playing there," Barbosa said to RB Sport.
Neymar is currently on the brink of leaving Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal after several serious injuries. Rumors have been circulating about his potential return to his home club, Santos.
Joazinho: Neymar could play for any club in the world
Former footballer Joazinho, who played for Krasnodar and Sochi, reacted to his compatriot Neymar's situation, with Neymar close to leaving Saudi club Al-Hilal. The club is looking to terminate his contract after he missed most of the matches due to injuries.
"Neymar is a very strong footballer. It's impossible that his level has dropped. He can play for any club in the world," Joazinho said in an interview with Championat's Maria Kutsubeeva.
Earlier, reports suggested Neymar was keen on returning to Santos, the club where he began his career. Neymar has played two matches for Al-Hilal this season but has not been able to make an impact in terms of goals or assists. His market value is currently €15 million, according to Transfermarkt.
